Platelet rich plasma is made from the liquid portion (plasma) of your own blood that contains a high concentration of platelets and proteins.
When PRP is injected, stem cells are activated and they stimulate cellular repair and regeneration.
PRP has many uses, mainly revolving around accelerated healing of injuries and surgical wounds, cosmetically, and to treat signs of aging.
Decrease or resolve pain during sex
Increased ability to have vaginal orgasm.
Greater arousal form clitoral stimulation
Tighter, more elastic vaginal canal
Decreased or resolved overactive bladder or urinary incontinence
A staff member trained in blood collection will draw about 15 mLs of your blood from a vein, just like you would have for routine lab testing. That tube will be placed in a centrifuge to separate the PRP from the red and white blood cells, which will be discarded.
The PRP is activated by mixing with Calcium Chloride. The site for PRP injection is numbed with topical and local anesthetic, as well as using ice packs.
You can resume normal activity 4 hours after the procedure. Results should be seen within a few days.
